Job Description:

Drive profitable sales for the Construction & Industrial business in the assigned territory
Develop, implement, and execute effective territory business plans
Prioritize end customers, markets, and distributors for effective territory management
Implement promotions and directives set by division management
Collaborate across C&I territories and other 3M EMD divisions to meet customer needs
Travel up to 50% domestically
Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
Follow safety policies, identify hazards, and support continuous EHS improvement

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher and three (3) years direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience
OR Associate's degree and five (5) years of electrical industry sales experience
Current, valid driver's license
Sales experience in the Electric C&I Market
Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
Ability to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications
Field/channel sales experience
Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within assigned territory
Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization
Strong computer skills
Database management and proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Salesforce.com
Ability to work effectively with peers
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
Ability to drive a company vehicle, subject to pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle history review
